- Feathers are 3-6 inches
- Strung (sewn) together near the tip of each quill
- The body of Rooster Hackle feathers are usually no wider than 1/2" and are soft and flexible, with very little fluff near the quill.
- These Feathers are thin and wispy (almost see through) thin, and pointed at the tip.
- This style of feather identified as Furnace is naturally rusty, reddish- brown with a black-brown stripe running down through the center of the feather with a natural sheen.
