Round Memory Wire

Memory Wire is one of the easiest stringing materials to use. Because of its hard temper, it holds its shape. It is incredibly easy to finish-off as well - you can simply use a Round Nose Pliers or Memory Wire Finishing Pliers to turn the ends into a small loop, or choose from a variety of findings specifically designed to finish Memory Wire. Beadalon offer two types of memory wire:
Remembrance Memory Wire is stainless steel wire, made into coils, and sized for rings, bracelets, and necklaces. The diameters are given in ranges to account for the variations in the manufacturing process. Remembrance is made in the USA, and is the highest quality available.
Steel Memory Wire is a carbon steel wire that has been plated with silver, antique brass color, and gold color. It is made into coils, and sized for rings, bracelets, and necklaces. The diameters are given in ranges to account for the variations in the manufacturing process. This wire is ideal when you want the shimmer and shine of a plated wire.

Flat Memory Wire

Flat Memory Wire is an exciting innovation in the world of Memory Wire. The flat surface provides an excellent base for wire wrapping and for stringing large-hole beads. You can also combine Flat Memory Wire with special findings for completely customized designs. Like all memory wire, its hard temper allows it to retain its shape. HOW TO BEND MEMORY WIRE

Remembrance Memory Wire puts fun in fashion. Bead onto this thin, tempered stainless steel wire (also available in silver and gold plated steel) to create chokers, bracelets, anklets, and rings. Like a spring, it snaps back to its original form when expanded and released - no need for a clasp. It's great for cuff bracelets. There are two basic ways to finish off your creation: by gluing on end caps or with a quick and simple loops. You can even add decorative dangles to the loop - how chic! To create the loop at the end of your memory wire design, use a pair of Beadalon Round Nose Pliers.

Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Place the end of the Memory Wire between the tips of the Round Nose Pliers.
2. With one movement of the pliers, carefully bend the wire backwards, going against the wire's natural curve for an outside loop. For an inside loop, bend the wire into its natural curve.
3. Once you've beaded the wire, repeat the previous step at the other end, forming a loop at the opposite end. Dangle a bead or charm from the loop for a playful look that adds movement.

HOW TO USE MEMORY WIRE END CAPS

Finish off Remembrance Memory Wire designs with End Caps for a professional, polished finish. End Caps are open on one side and are available in a variety of shapes in either silver or gold plate, a perfect complement for any Remembrance and Plated Steel Memory Wire design.

Tip: To add strength to any glue joint, use sandpaper on the end of the Memory Wire before gluing.

• Step-by-Step Instructions •
1. Add a drop of Beadalon BeadFix adhesive to the end of the Memory Wire.
2. Carefully slide an End Cap onto the wire so that it adheres to the wire.
3. Add another drop of BeadFix adhesive to where the End Cap meets the wire.
4. Slide the first bead of your design flush against the End Cap until they are glued together. Add the remaining beads and repeat the above steps on the other end of the wire. Allow 24 hours of drying time for maximum bonding
